VibeSing for Long-Distance — A Song in Your Voice, as a Link

The gift has to survive a time zone

Long-distance is not "couples, but on FaceTime." The constraint is delivery. A playlist is a URL they already have. A voice memo is intimate and dies in the thread. A VibeSing clip is a page they can reopen at 1 a.m. their time: your voice, a real song, a card that still says the thing when they tap it next month.

This is adjacent to VibeSing for couples, not a copy of it. Couples content is "us." LDR content is "I cannot be there, so this has to travel." You do not need to be online together. You do not wait for Band Mode. You send a link.

What you actually do

Open Studio. Record three short English samples in a quiet room — speaking is enough; you are not performing the track. Pick a demo, or upload a file you have the right to use. Generate. Copy the share page. That is the gift.

There is no Voices tab, no celebrity singer to "put them on the song," and no text box that writes a custom ballad from a prompt. If the point was a song in their voice without them recording, that is not this product. You cannot clone someone else's voice. The honest version is your voice covering their song — or each of you sending the other a take.

Free is 100 credits a month, about ten clips, and one lifetime voice training. Training costs 10 credits, a clip costs 10. Plenty for an anniversary week; not a factory.

Songs that travel (not a secret LDR catalog)

Use songs that already mean something, then pick energy that matches the distance, not a fake "long-distance playlist" we invented.

• Perfect by Ed Sheeran — unhurried, the one people already call "ours." Easy to send without a speech attached.
• Die With A Smile — Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, built like a two-person vow. You cannot blend both of your voices into one file yet. You can each generate it and swap links.
• BIRDS OF A FEATHER — quieter, close-mic, good when a big ballad would feel like overselling a Tuesday.
• Seven — warmer, more "I still think about this," if Perfect feels too wedding.

If those are not your song, they are not your song. The share page does not care. luther or As It Was is fine if that is what you two actually play.

How to send it so it lands

Put the URL in the message, not a screenshot of a waveform. Add one sentence they could not get from Spotify: the date you last heard it together, the airport, the dumb nickname. Play it once yourself on headphones before you hit send — LDR gifts get forwarded to group chats; artifacts stay.

If they want to answer, they tap Make your version and record their own three prompts. Two clips, two consented voices, same track. That loop is live. A single mixed duet is Band Mode, on the roadmap.

Keep the link. Next visit, next birthday, next "I landed," you already have a voice model. Generate again. The old page does not get overwritten just because you made a new one.
