Can Friends Remake My AI Cover?
Yes. Every VibeSing share page has Make your version — they record their own voice on the same song. You do not send them your model, and Band Mode is still on the roadmap.
Yes — that is the loop the share page is for
When you generate a clip, you get a share page, not just a file. Anyone with the link can tap Make your version. That opens the studio with the same track in mind. They record their three prompts. They get their clip. You never hand over your voice model, and they never sing into your account.
This is how a group chat actually uses the product today: one person posts APT., three friends answer. Same song, four voices, no scheduling a "session."
What it is not
It is not a duet mixer. It is not karaoke scoring. It is not Band Mode. Band Mode (one clip, assigned parts, everyone in the same render) is on the VibeSing roadmap. Until that ships, the remake button is the group feature — slightly more work, much more honest about consent, because each person trains on their own mic.
If you wanted a single file with four voices stacked, you wait, or you edit the separate clips yourself. Do not log in as them.
How to send it so they actually do it
- The link, not a screenshot of the waveform. The button lives on the page.
- One sentence of instructions: "30 seconds of talking, then tap Generate." People overestimate the work.
- A song they already know. Espresso remakes more easily than a deep cut they have to learn.
Challenges are the same mechanic with a hashtag: #VibeSwitch is "this week's #1, your voice."
Privacy
The share page is as public as the URL you distribute. Do not put a private joke on a link you also paste to a story unless you are fine with that audience. There is not currently a one-click unshare; treat the URL like a sent photo.
Open the studio, make one clip, and send it to one friend with the words "your turn."
