How to Make an AI Cover Without Singing

Record three spoken prompts, pick a song, generate. You never perform the track. A practical no-singing path for gifts, jokes, and first clips.

The no-singing path is the default path

VibeSing does not ask you to perform the song. The studio gives you three short English lines. You read them in a quiet room, in your normal voice, like a voice memo. That is the entire "performance." The model handles melody, timing, and length.

If you came here because karaoke makes you nauseous, you are not missing a step. You do not need to know how to sing.

Do this, in order

  1. Room. Fan off, phone notifications silent. Quiet room setup.
  2. Phone or laptop mic is fine. Do not record through a voice-note in iMessage — those codecs crush the sample. Recording on iPhone if that is your device.
  3. Open Studio and record the three prompts. Speak the way you actually talk. Do not put on a radio voice.
  4. Pick a demo from the trend feed, or upload a song you have rights to. First-timers: something mid-range and hooky — Espresso, As It Was, APT..
  5. Generate. Wait. Listen once on headphones before you decide it "doesn't sound like you."

What to pick if you are not a singer

Avoid songs that are famous for belting or acrobatic runs as your first clip. Die With A Smile is a beautiful song and a harder first test than Flowers. Chant hooks and conversational pop hide a speaking-trained clone better than a power ballad.

If the result is thin on high notes, that is a range gap in the samples, not a moral failing. Add one sample that actually goes a bit higher — still not the whole song. How many samples you need.

Sharing it without performing on camera

You do not need a lip-sync video. The share page is the artifact: send the link, or post it with a caption that says it is your voice. Friends tap Make your version and do the same 30-second recording. Can friends remake my cover?

Open the studio. Read, do not sing. That is the product.
